Welcome

It's Me!Hello, my name is James. I am a Graphic Designer currently based in Wichita, KS. I am currently doing freelance work while working towards a bachelors degree at Wichita State University.

I have several years of experience as a designer in digital art, web design, and print. I have finished my fifth year of post secondary schooling with an Associates of Art in Graphic Design and a certification in Commercial and Advertising Art.

Outside of school, I freelance under the alias, "Aluminum Wrench," specializing in print and web design. My web work favors clean and simple interfaces with easy navigation.

I design with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. I code my sites with HTML, CSS, and I may occasionally use Java Script and PHP. I thoroughly check that all of my sites conform to modern Web Standards.

On this site you will find my services, a gallery with some of my new and old artwork, my résumé and contact information.

Recent Work
Safari EcoEngine
Safari EcoEngine is a new company who plans on licensing small and efficient engines in UTV off road vehicles. The project called for a new logo design as well as the web site shown above.
"Techno Wall" Poster
I recently went to see "Tron Legacy" and the end credits inspired me to make this poster. The planed print dimensions are 6x2ft. A "wallpaper" of this is available for download in the gallery.
Sprocket Identity Design
Sprocket was a recent class project in which we were asked to come up with a boutique that catered to a very specific crowd. This identity design was for a cycling apparel shop.
Source Spray Pack
I had some free time a few months back and it prompted me to create fan art for some of my favorite games. These images are available in the downloads section of my gallery.
Sudopic Portfolio Site
Sudopic is a portfolio site that I helped code for an old friend; he is an excellent designer and photographer. Work has prevented him from finishing his portfolio so this site is not yet live.
